What should you do to avoid cheating in online classes, even if your behavior was unintentional?

Answer:

Follow the course and assignment instructions carefully, do your own work, and cite any sources you use. Ask your instructor if you are unsure whether a website, AI tool, outside help, or collaboration is allowed. Keep track of the rules so you can avoid violations even when you did not intend to cheat.
