A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury caused by a blow, bump, or jolt to the head or body. Symptoms may include headache, dizziness, confusion, difficulty concentrating or remembering, nausea or vomiting, blurred vision, sensitivity to light or noise, unusual mood changes, drowsiness, or loss of consciousness. Anyone suspected of having a concussion should stop playing and be evaluated by a medical professional.
