Mohamed moved to Great Britain from Egypt to work as a museum curator. He was raised as a Muslim but had not practiced for several years. While preparing an exhibit about Arabic history, he examined many artifacts and other items related to Islam. As a result of living in a new place, he began to see these items from a fresh point of view. The work also reminded him of his youth and the celebrations he shared with his family.
