I agree that Picasso was extremely important to the development of modern art and helped show that art could express ideas and emotions without being perfectly realistic. I also agree that art can be beautiful because of the mood or feeling it creates in the viewer. However, I do not think art must avoid accurate representation, because realistic paintings can also communicate ideas and emotions. Art can take many forms, including realistic, abstract, symbolic, and experimental styles.
