Why should you spend a large amount of time thinking about a big decision before you make it?
The bigger a decision is, the longer it is going to affect your life. You want to make sure you are making a decision that will positively affect your life. If you make a decision that turns out to be a bad one, you may have to regret it for a very long time.
What happens when you do not make a decision?
When you don’t make a decision, you are making the choice to take no action. As a result, you must accept whatever happens or whatever others choose for you. You are also giving up control over your own life.
What is the relationship between decisions and trade-offs?
For every decision you make there is a trade-off, because you always have to give something up in exchange for another decision.
What is the biggest decision you think you will make in your lifetime? Explain why you think it would be such a big decision.
