Making Inferences and Conclusions Answers

Read the following story and answer the questions based on it. Willie was a shepherd boy whose job it was to keep the sheep safe. Willie loved the sheep and loved being out in the meadow, but he longed for some adventure. Finally, he decided on a plan that was sure to bring some excitement to his small herd. He ran to the town and shouted for the men to come quickly with their guns because a wolf was attacking the sheep. When the men arrived, no wolf was in sight, and the men were not happy with Willie for lying to them. But Willie was thrilled with the attention he had received, so he tried the same trick several times over the course of a month. Each time, the men of the town ran quickly to his aid only to become angry with Willie's lies. One day, however, a wolf really did sneak in to threaten the sheep. But when Willie ran into the town for help, the men refused to come. Classify the following statement based on the story: Willie was bored with his job.
