Which are aspects covered by Bohr’s atomic model?
Describe how the Bohr model explains both of these observations.
In the Bohr model, electrons can exist only in specific energy levels. When an atom absorbs energy, an electron jumps to a higher energy level. When it falls back to a lower level, it emits light. The wavelength of this light corresponds to the specific energy difference between the levels. Because every element has a unique set of energy levels, each element produces a unique emission spectrum.
Which statements are true of the electron cloud model? Check all that apply.
