This ad would target athletes, especially those participating in contact sports. The ad is intended to educate and inform athletes of health and safety rules concerning open sores, cuts, and bleeding.

The visual cues are the font that the headline is written in. It looks like a wall is breaking down. The tone of the poem would be serious from the cue words in the poster like “immediately and frequently.”

Sample answer: The word staph might mean some type of infection in a wound. A bandage would be a covering to keep bacteria out.

Sample answer: They both have they same general idea of not spreading germs. The things in common are that the posters are from the same company, same general message and they have a visual and graphic. What catches my eye are the pictures and the color of the purple germ.

Sample answer: 1. MRSA is a strain of a staph infection and the letters stand for: methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus 2. Launder means to clean your clothes 3. Frequently means often.

The overall objective would be to get children to frequently wash their hands. The title’s meaning is that by the things we touch, we spread disease very easily and quickly.

The emphasis is on whether you have been bitten by something. It wants to draw your attention to the fact that a bump on your body may not be a bite from something, it might be an infection.

Figure 1 would be better because the image is of an athletic event. The other poster looks too childish for a sport player. The message the posters have is to make sure not to spread bacteria to other humans.

Sample answer: When you get a sore or cut make sure you treat it properly to avoid infection. The main idea would be about infections and they react with the body.

Sample Answer: Make sure you wash your hands frequently throughout the day to decrease the spread of germs. There are preventions that we should do to protect the threat of spreading germs to each other. Some germs to humans can act quickly and deadly so it is imperative we protect each other.
