Explain the process that creates wind.
Wind is caused by the unequal heating of Earth's surface by the sun. This temperature difference creates areas of different air pressure. Air naturally moves from areas of high pressure (where air is cooler) to areas of low pressure (where air is warmer), and this movement of air is what we call wind.
