Explain the process that creates wind.
Wind is caused by the unequal heating of Earth's surface by the sun. This temperature difference creates areas of different air pressure. Air naturally moves from areas of high pressure (where air is cooler) to areas of low pressure (where air is warmer), and this movement of air is what we call wind.
Which statements describe aspects of what causes wind to blow? Select two options.Wind is caused by differences in air pressure.Wind moves from low pressure areas to high pressure areas.Differences in air pressure are due to unequal heating.Differences in air pressure are caused by oceans.Wind is caused by the Coriolis effect.
