Read the paragraph from an interpretive literary analysis. In William Shakespeare's Hamlet, the main character's indecision and inattention result not only in deaths around him, but also in his own death. Hamlet wounds Laertes and then they switch swords. Before Laertes dies, he gets in a last jab at Hamlet, who ends up being wounded by his own poisoned sword.
