Auto Instructions: Skip Edgenuity & EdgeX Videos Instantly
THE #1 EDGENUITY HACK
- Auto Complete Exams
- Auto Complete Assignments
- Skip Videos Instantly
If you've ever sat through an Edgenuity instruction video at 1x with the next button locked, you already understand the product. Instruction activities are designed to burn seat time. Revolt's Auto Instructions exists to take that time back — and on EdgeX it goes even further with dedicated video speed controls.
What Auto Instructions automates
- •Skips intro screens and visual blockers that force you to 'watch' before progressing
- •Forces video elements to play at maximum speed instead of real-time
- •Auto-advances instruction frames with a countdown widget so you always know what's happening
- •Handles practice questions that appear inside instruction activities — not just the passive slides
- •Pairs with Skip Intro for the fastest path through content activities
This is the feature that makes a 45-minute 'lesson' take minutes. Without it, even a perfect quiz bot still leaves you stuck watching talking-head videos.
EdgeX video speed (extension only)
On EdgeX (student.ex.edgenuity.com), Revolt exposes video playback presets inside the Auto Instructions accordion:
- •5x preset — high-speed default that already crushes normal watching
- •10x preset — aggressive pacing when you need to move
- •20x preset — maximum push for emergency catch-up
Those controls are built for EdgeX's player — something classic-only scripts simply don't have. If your school migrated you to EdgeX and videos still feel endless, this is the fix.
Delays that still look human
Auto Instructions respects Advanced Controls for next-frame delay (default ~1–3 sec) and practice-question delay (default ~2–5 sec). Zero delay on every frame can look unnatural. Revolt defaults to smart ranges so you get speed without advertising that nothing was watched.
Combine it with the rest of the stack
- •Auto Instructions + Skip Intro — fastest content pass
- •Auto Instructions + Auto Advance — hands-free chaining into the next activity
- •Auto Instructions + Auto Exam — lessons fly by, quizzes finish themselves
- •Auto Instructions + Auto Assignment — full unit automation without tab-babysitting
Why Revolt wins on content skipping
A lot of 'auto advance' tools only click Next when the button unlocks. Revolt actually drives the instruction activity: video speed, frame advance, practice questions, EdgeX-specific rates. That's the difference between a button clicker and a real Edgenuity automation suite. 50,000+ students enable Auto Instructions first for a reason — it's the feature you feel immediately.
How to turn it on
Install the extension, open your course, toggle Auto Instructions on the Home tab of the Revolt sidebar. On EdgeX, open the accordion and pick a video speed preset. Pair with Auto Advance and walk away. Keys start at $2.50 — cheaper than another hour of forced video time.
