When you work in Edgenuity says almost as much as how fast you work. Teachers can see activity logs and time spent, and a class that moves forward every night from 2 to 5 AM, with no breaks, looks nothing like a student. Running automation during believable hours is one of the simplest ways to keep your log ordinary.

Revolt's Work Hours Scheduler does that for you. Pick the days and hours automation may run, add Random or Fixed breaks, and Revolt pauses itself outside those hours and restarts when they begin. Pair it with a delay preset and your course moves at a pace that looks like a school day.

Why 'when' matters as much as 'how fast'

Edgenuity, EdgeX, Edmentum and Subject all record when you worked and for how long. How much of that a teacher actually looks at depends on your school and teacher, but the patterns that stand out are predictable:

  • •Progress that only ever happens in the middle of the night.
  • •Eight straight hours of activity with no gaps at all.
  • •A whole unit cleared in one sitting, every activity seconds apart.
  • •Weekend marathons from a student who never logs in during the week.

None of those prove anything on their own. They just invite a closer look. For the bigger picture on what platforms can and can't see, read does Edgenuity detect cheating.

How the Work Hours Scheduler works

  • •Pick days: weekdays only, every day, or any mix.
  • •Pick hours: the window automation is allowed to run, like 9 AM to 3 PM.
  • •Add breaks: Random or Fixed, so the session isn't one unbroken block.
  • •Outside your hours, Revolt pauses itself. When your hours begin, it restarts on its own.
  • •Anti Logout keeps running while automation is paused, so the session doesn't time out and you come back still signed in.

Work Hours works on all four platforms, Edgenuity, EdgeX, Edmentum and Subject, in the userscript.

The point is that you set it once. You don't have to remember to start Revolt after school or stop it before bed. Leave the course tab open, and automation clocks in and out on its own, the same way every day. If plans change, edit the hours and the next session follows the new window. And because Anti Logout keeps dismissing session-timeout prompts during pauses, you're less likely to come back to a login screen and a stalled class the next morning.

Random vs Fixed breaks

Break typeHow it behavesGood for
RandomBreaks land at varied times within your hoursLooking like a person who gets up when they feel like it
FixedBreaks happen at the same times you setMatching a real schedule, like a lunch break at noon
OffNo breaks inside your hoursShort windows where breaks don't matter

Delays and presets: pacing inside your hours

Work Hours decides when automation runs. Configurable Delays decide how it runs once it's going. You can set per-activity delays and submit delays on Edgenuity, EdgeX and Edmentum, or pick a preset:

PresetPaceWhen to use it
ASAPFastest, minimal waitingA real deadline and nobody watching closely
LightShort delaysMoving quickly while leaving some gaps
MediumModerate delaysA sensible default for most classes
SafeLongest delaysTeachers who check time spent carefully

You can also save your own setup and import, export or share it, and Settings Sync carries your settings across devices.

Set your hours once and let Revolt work a believable school day for you.

Sample schedules

These are examples, not rules. Choose hours that match when you'd plausibly be working.

  • •Online school student: weekdays, 8 AM to 3 PM, Fixed break at lunch, Medium delays.
  • •In-person student with an online class: weekdays, 4 PM to 8 PM, Random breaks, Medium or Safe delays.
  • •Summer school or credit recovery: weekdays plus a few weekend hours, Random breaks, Light delays when the deadline gets close.

Cloud Work Hours

If Revolt is finishing a class on its servers through Cloud Completions, Cloud Work Hours applies the same idea to the cloud run: it works inside the hours you choose instead of around the clock. Your computer can be off the whole time.

The rest of the realism toolkit

  • •Humanized Answers add natural pauses while quizzes are answered.
  • •Accuracy Range lands you on a target score instead of 100% every time (classic Edgenuity).
  • •Auto Advance score filters stop it skipping past an exam you should retake.
  • •Remote Control lets you check in from your phone without changing the schedule (see the Remote Control Dashboard).
