Read the passage from a student’s response to an op-ed. (1) Standardized college admissions tests determine not only who will be admitted to colleges and universities, but also who will win scholarships. (2) Yet data show that students who cannot afford expensive, small-group test-prep courses tend to do worse on these tests than their wealthier peers. (3) To ensure a fair chance for all of our students, our school should offer a free test-prep course for all students taking college admissions tests. (4) It is the right thing to do.
