B) In my opinion, the architect did use the best technique for this structure. A suspension bridge is ideal for spanning a wide body of water because it can cover a very long distance without many supports in the middle. It is also strong and visually striking, which makes it both practical and beautiful. If I had chosen another technique, I might have considered a cantilever bridge, but I do not think it would have been as effective or elegant in this case.
