Where you log in to Edgenuity depends on which version your school uses. Classic Edgenuity students sign in at learn.edgenuity.com. EdgeX students sign in at student.ex.edgenuity.com. And many districts skip both pages entirely and send you through Clever or ClassLink, where you click the Edgenuity tile and land in your courses.

If the login isn't working, the cause is almost always one of three things: you're on the wrong portal, your school expects you to sign in through its own single sign-on, or your session timed out. Here's how to figure out which one and fix it.

Where to sign in

PlatformWhere you sign inTypical login
Classic Edgenuitylearn.edgenuity.comUsername and password from your school, or school SSO
EdgeXstudent.ex.edgenuity.comUsually your school account or SSO
Through your districtClever or ClassLink portalYour school Google or Microsoft account, then the Edgenuity tile

If your teacher gave you a link or a Clever/ClassLink tile, use that. It's set up for your district, and it's the path least likely to break.

How to tell which Edgenuity you're on

Once you're in, look at the address bar. If it says learn.edgenuity.com, you're on classic Edgenuity. If it says student.ex.edgenuity.com, you're on EdgeX. Some quizzes and tests open in Edgenuity's Nova player inside either one. This matters for login problems, since an account set up for one won't necessarily work on the other, and it matters for tools like Revolt, which supports both. For a full breakdown, see what is Edgenuity.

Common Edgenuity login problems and fixes

Wrong portal

The most common problem. If your school moved to EdgeX, your old classic login page may not recognize you, and the reverse is true too. Check with your teacher which platform your course is on, or go back to the link or tile your school provided.

School SSO (Clever, ClassLink, Google, Microsoft)

If your district uses single sign-on, typing a username and password on the Edgenuity page may not work at all. Sign in to your district's Clever or ClassLink portal first with your school account, then open Edgenuity from there. Make sure you're signed in to your school Google or Microsoft account, not a personal one.

Session timeouts

Edgenuity signs you out after a period of inactivity, which is painful in the middle of a long video or essay. Draft long written answers somewhere else first so a timeout doesn't eat them. Revolt's Anti Logout feature dismisses session-timeout prompts so a long activity keeps going on classic Edgenuity, EdgeX and Edmentum.

Browser problems

  • •Use an up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
  • •Allow cookies for the Edgenuity site, since sign-in depends on them.
  • •Allow pop-ups if your SSO opens a sign-in window.
  • •Try a private window. If that works, clear your cache and cookies for the site.
  • •Turn extensions off one by one if a page loads blank.

Signed in to the wrong Google or Microsoft account

If your browser is signed in to a personal account, school SSO can quietly use it and then refuse you. Sign out of the personal account, or use a separate browser profile just for school, so the right account is always the one that signs in.

Forgot your password or locked out

Student accounts are created and managed by your school, so password resets usually go through your teacher, counselor or school tech support rather than Edgenuity directly. If you sign in through Clever, ClassLink, Google or Microsoft, reset that account instead.

Keep your login safe

Your Edgenuity login is tied to your school account, which often means your school email and everything else your district gives you. Only type it into your school's real sign-in pages or your Clever or ClassLink portal. Sites and Discord DMs offering a 'free Edgenuity bot' in exchange for your password are a common scam, and so are fake login pages that look almost right. Check the address bar before you sign in, every time.

Tired of timeouts kicking you out mid-video? Revolt's Anti Logout keeps long sessions running.

Logging in on your phone

You can log in to Edgenuity from a phone browser, but it's cramped. If you want automation on mobile, Revolt runs on iPhone and iPad through the Focus browser app and on Android through Firefox with Violentmonkey for classic Edgenuity. See Edgenuity on your phone. You can also run Revolt on your computer and control it from your phone with Remote Control.
